Karlie Oldham, ACU Intern Supervised by Bethany Luna, LMFT-S
Hi, I’m Karlie. I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist Graduate Intern from Abilene Christian University, and I work from a systems perspective because I believe we all grow, struggle, and heal in the context of our relationships and environments. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they move through challenges, transitions, and patterns that no longer serve them.
My work includes helping clients improve communication, navigate conflict, strengthen attachment, shift unhelpful family dynamics, and build skills that support healthier connection. I have a heart for single parents—helping them find steadiness, support, and practical tools—and for clients healing from trauma, offering a grounded, compassionate space to rebuild safety and resilience.
Whether supporting partners through relational strain, guiding families toward more effective interaction, or helping individuals understand how their broader system shapes their wellbeing, I want to offer a space for safety of expression.
I also enjoy working with college-aged adults who are figuring out identity, independence, stress, and the pressure of “getting it right.”
My hope is to offer a space that feels steady, warm, and collaborative, where you can strengthen your relationships, break old cycles, build resilience, and move toward the version of yourself you want to become.
