Bethany is a licensed couple and family therapist who has been working in Lubbock, Texas for over 10 years. She is trained in the Gottman Method, Trust Based Relational Intervention, TF-CBT, TF-EAP, Trauma Focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, TC-TSY, Trauma Center, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, EMDR, IFS informed and Conscious Discipline.
Bethany has worked extensively with birth to 3 year old, foster care agencies including children in care, foster parents and provided education monthly at information meetings. She has worked in residential treatment centers, schools, and has experience supporting parents and children with significant behavior concerns. Bethany has worked in childcare facilities and is currently the mental health consultant for Texas Tech University Center for Early Head Start. She has presented topics of stress and goals. Bethany currently partners with East Lubbock Art House to assist in providing monthly wellness workshops covering a variety of topics, including transition management, anxiety, depression, goal setting, parenting, and more. Bethany has worked with the juvenile justice center to provide therapy and parenting support to children involved in deferred adjudication and probation.Â
Bethany is an active supervisor for clinicians in training and is forming a method of supervision that is supportive and engaging for young clinicians in training. She is an active advocate for the community and supports equity among us all.Â
