Bethany Luna
Couple and Family Therapist

Bethany Luna, M.S., LMFT
I believe experiences shape who we are and embarking on a different experience in a therapy setting can alter your experiences outside of the office. My ideal client is seeking being seen, their light and dark parts and held as worthy for all of them. They want growth and change. They are seeking to build self-compassion and understanding within themselves and for others. I have been working as a Licensed Couple and Family Therapist since 2013. I am trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, TBRI and TC-TSY (yoga).
I am also trained in Level 2 Gottman Method for couples. One of my specialties is providing support to couples and all variations of intimate partnerships managing difficulties with communication, intimacy and high conflict. For 7 years, I have worked in private practice as a couple and family therapist. I have found that many couples benefit from intensive work that occurs in longer sessions with space between. If you are interested in learning more about these offerings, please contact me via email or phone call and I can explain the details more fully.
I have a passion for working with all individuals, couples and families. As a queer woman, I am proud to support the queer community and any and all sexually diverse clients.
Being chosen to hold space for peoples' vulnerable parts is an honor to me. It is with gratitude and intention that I enter into therapy sessions. I use reflections and bring lots of outside resources into sessions. In the therapeutic process, I view myself as a guide and a support. Also, I value incorporating mindfulness and holistic evidence-based practices.
Here's what I think you need to know about me. I will listen deeply for the words you say and the meaning underneath them. I will advocate and support you in moments of celebration and struggle. Therapy is a place we go together and I hold those moments as special and unique with each client.
Thank you for taking the time to see me. I hope you find the person you need.
