Why is there an intake session with a parent(s)? Â
The parent intake session is a very important part of the group. It allows the facilitators to gain some background about your child and learn your biggest concerns as well as the best way to communicate learned skills with you. This also allows you to prepare your child for the group as well. An intake session is required to participate in the group and must be scheduled before the first group meeting on February 17th.Â
